**Responsibilities**:

- AD infrastructure: This includes AD forests, domains, trusts, and replication topology, as well as planning for scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Active Directory services: This includes domain controllers, AD Sites and Services, and AD Replication.
- Active Directory Management and Administration: The day-to-day management and administration includes managing user accounts, groups, and organizational units (OUs), managing permissions and access controls, and ensuring proper security measures are implemented.
- Security and Identity Management: Managing security measures within the AD infrastructure includes managing user authentication and authorization, enforcing password policies, and implementing security best practices to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Active Directory Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues and incidents related to AD. This includes analyzing system logs, diagnosing problems, and implementing corrective actions to ensure the stability and reliability of the AD environment. Required to be on call for high priority incident response and resolution.
- Active Directory Monitoring and Performance Optimization: You will monitor the performance and health of the AD infrastructure, proactively identify bottlenecks or issues, and implement performance optimization measures.
- Active Directory Policy and Governance: You will develop and enforce AD policies, procedures, and governance standards. This includes creating and maintaining documentation, conducting security audits, ensuring compliance with industry regulations (i.e., JSON) and implementing security controls to protect sensitive data.
- Active Directory Upgrades and Migrations: Plan and execute upgrades and migrations of the AD infrastructure, including domain functional level upgrades, testing compatibility and impact of upgrades, developing migration strategies, and coordinating upgrades and changes with all stakeholders to minimize disruption. (i.e., Domain Controller OS Upgrades)
- Stay Updated with Industry Trends: You should stay informed about the latest trends, threats, technologies, and best practices related to Active Directory and identity management. This includes attending relevant training, participating in professional forums, and continuous learning to enhance your skills and expertise.
- Change Management: You will be responsible for submitting and communicating changes with all stakeholders, to minimize disruptions to the business.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other related field.
- 5+ Years of MS Active Directory experience
- Advanced knowledge and experience with on-premises MS AD and Azure AD in multi-domain and multi-forest environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory components, including domains, forests, trusts, replication, sites, and group policies. Understanding of AD architecture, scalability, and high availability is important.
- Demonstrate knowledge with problem resolution and experience with Tier 3 troubleshooting, on call and incident response.
- Proficiency in implementing security controls, managing user access and permissions, and
- enforcing security policies.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating AD administrative tasks, generating reports, and performing bulk operations.
- Experience with Windows Server 2012R2 - Current
- Advanced knowledge and experience with DNS and DHCP
- Advanced knowledge and experience with LDAP and Kerberos
- Advanced knowledge and experience with GO and domain policy deployment and management.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, translate technical concepts to non-technical individuals, and document AD configurations, policies, and procedures.
