**Role and Responsibilities**
- Track project timelines to plan for regular reviews and ensure client deliverables are ready on time
- Perform or review various NERC Compliance studies: FAC-008, PRC-005, PRC-019, PRC-024, PRC-025, PRC-026, PRC-027, MOD-025, and MOD-032.
- Perform high level bulk power system studies using various power system software such as PSS/e, PSCAD, Aspen, and PSLF.
- Review engineering studies for new and emerging technologies such as inverters, or Bulk Energy Storage Systems, which may require interaction with equipment vendors to complete the analyses.
- Process, generate and maintain data as required for other engineering related studies.
- Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects assigned while meeting all project quality and budget objectives.
- Support client calls as necessary
- Additional tasks as assigned.
**Required Qualification & Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of renewable energy industry experience in power systems engineering, or similar
**Experience Preferred**
- 2+ years of power system engineering with a strong background in reading electrical schematics and electrical testing records
- Experience working with a U.S based company is highly preferred
**Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications Preferred**
- Technical knowledge of power systems operations and NERC Reliability Standards
**Company/Industry Related Knowledge**
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Additional knowledge of ERCOT, CAISO, and other ISO/RTO markets, State Public Utilities Commissions, and IA/PAA operational requirements desirable
**Physical Requirements**
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
