BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking has had a representation office in Mexico since 1966. Since then BNP Paribas has played an important role in financing Mexico´s development into the 21st century. BNP Paribas was one of the founders of Banco Nacional de Mexico (Banamex), one of Mexico’s largest banks, at the end of the 19th century, and stayed as a minority shareholder until the nationalization of the banking system in 1982. BNP was first established in Mexico more than half a century ago also acting as an important shareholder in Banco del Atlántico until 1982. BNP and Paribas merged in 2000 to create BNP Paribas. **BNP Paribas Mexico** is expanding and has started operating in 2021 a full-fledged Mexican bank to better serve its clients through local operations performing local and global markets activities. Operations out of BNP Paribas Mexico include in particular trading and market making activities on interest rate derivatives, forex (spot and forward), bonds, repos and reverse repos on MBonos, UDI and Bonos. The coverage activities focusing on Mexican corporate and institutional clients will remain and expand.

**Business Overview**:
The Operations Team in BNP Paribas México is responsible for insuring that all Back Office activities are performed correctly in the various locations providing services to Mexico, thus on time respecting the established cut-off times and KPIs, including the Local Regulatory Reports.

The **AVP - Ops Local Regulatory Reporting** is responsible for performing the activities of Local Regulatory Reports and he/she will be based in Mexico and will report to the Head of Operations Mexico.

**Responsibilities**:
Preparation of various daily regulatory reporting of the following (but not limited to) providing daily regulatory reports to the Mexican regulators as well as internal groups that need the information. Most of the reports are time sensitive. Working closely with different teams for controls and escalations.

Below is a list of reports that the **AVP - Ops Local Regulatory Reporting **will be responsible for generating in a very automated way in a software called Bajaware and will be responsible to load them to Banxico´s website (SAIFWeb)):
