Diageo Mexico Supply is accountable for local manufacturing and production of Tequila Don Julio and other global brands. Tequila Don Julio has seen a dramatic increase on domestic and export sales driving sustained double-digit growth, with forecast sales volumes exceeding plant capacity.

About the Role:
- Lead monthly and quarterly closing, reporting, and consolidation activities
- Lead local annual audit
- Ensure the reasonableness of the financial information
- Implement aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Strategic Plan and Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit.
- You will own data collection and verify data integrity
- Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies.
- Lead the financial planning process to complete an on-going forecasting process, including balance sheets, and statement of cash flows for the Plant, as well as track performance to forecast and budget
- Coordinate with customers, banks, and service providers responsible for ongoing finance transaction management, services and reporting, accounting support, and operations support.
- Coordinates the publication of monthly reports regarding to the main variations and discussing with the Controller in order to provide the root cause analysis to find the corrective actions
Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages:
- Advanced English and Spanish is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Engineering required
- 4 or more years of Finance experience is required
- Intermediate + Excel skills
- SAP Experience is helpful
- Strong analytical skills and constructive thinking and ability to evaluate information
- Possess critical thinking skills with ability to interpret data
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Excellent inter-personal skills, strong communication skills
