El Oficial de Riesgo Operativo es un profesional estratégico que se mantiene actualizado sobre los desarrollos dentro del campo propio y contribuye a la estrategia direccional al considerar su aplicación en el empleo propio y en el negocio. Es la autoridad técnica reconocida para un área dentro de la empresa. Requiere conocimiento comercial básico. Hay, en general, múltiples personas dentro de la empresa que brindan el mismo nível de experiência en la materia. Se requiere el desarrollo de habilidades de diplomacia y comunicación para orientar, influenciar y convencer a los demás, en particular a los colegas de otras áreas y clientes externos ocasionales. Tiene un impacto significativo en el área debido a que hace entregas complejas. Brinda asesoramiento y consejos en relación con la tecnología y las operaciones de la empresa. Su trabajo impacta en toda el área, y esto, con el tiempo, afecta el desempeño y la efectividad generales de la categoría de puestos/subfunciones.

**Responsabilidades**:

- Establecer y supervisar la aplicación de políticas de riesgo operativo, tecnología y herramientas, y procesos de gestión, para crear soluciones perdurables para minimizar pérdidas por fallas de procesos internos, controles inadecuados y riesgos emergentes.
- Evaluar de manera independiente riesgos e impulsar acciones para tratar las causas raíz que llevan persistentemente a las pérdidas de riesgo operativo al desafiar las prácticas propuestas y las históricas.
- La gestión y supervisión pueden incluir el riesgo operativo de tecnología, por ejemplo.
- Ser el experto en la materia para Gestión de problemas (Indicadores clave de desempeño [key performance indicators, KPI]/KRI/Planes de acción correctiva).
- Resolver derivaciones a nível transaccional que provengan del proveedor o los socios internos.
- Analizar tarjetas de puntuación/herramientas de gestión de desempeño en un intento por mitigar la exposición (riesgo/financiera/regulatoria).
- Monitorear para que se cumplan las metas a través de la supervisión de relaciones, riesgo y desempeño de nuestra cadena de suministro extendida.
- Colaborar para resolver problemas que recaigan dentro de los términos del contrato.
- Evaluar adecuadamente el riesgo cuando se toman decisiones comerciales, demostrando una consideración particular por la reputación de la empresa y protegiendo a Citigroup, sus clientes y activos, al impulsar el cumplimiento de las leyes, las reglas y los reglamentos correspondientes, acatando la política, aplicando un juicio ético sólido en relación con el comportamiento personal, la conducta y las prácticas comerciales y escalando, administrando e informando los problemas de control con transparencia

**Calificaciones**:

- Entre 6 y 10 años de experiência en navegar y establecer contactos en la empresa mediante el uso de recursos internos y externos. Preferencia de experiência en supervisión de proveedores/terceros, preferible. Preferencia de experiência en redacción comercial.
- Conocimiento profundo de los procesos operativos

**Educación**:

- Licenciatura/título universitario; preferentemente maestría.

**Summary Job Description**:
The S&S Operational Risk Officer is a Sr level role accountable to secure compliance with regulatory guidelines designed to prevent banking failures and mitigate risk of vulnerability threats. Safety and Soundness role begins conceptualizing and designing products, ensuring the products are engineered to adhere to all regulatory guidelines and Citibanamex principles. Responsible to address any process gaps and keep corresponding stakeholders accountable for the entire audit, regulatory guidelines, and other internal controls.

The Safety & Soundness Operational Risk Officer will be accountable for managing transformation in partnership with Risk & Control, Information Security, Application Development teams, and their CTI counterparts in state of Planning. Position will report directly to Safety & Soundness Manager.
- Evaluate complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.
- Ensure effective delivery within tight deadlines

**Responsibilities**:

- Controls Reporting oversight
- Regulatory Reporting Oversight - ensure that all key data components are included in regulatory reporting as per requirements
- Coordinate deliveries related to Data Quality reviews and system to system reconciliations

**Qualifications**:

- 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
- Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
- Project Management experience
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related repo
