**What we expect from you**:

- Multi-regional position with responsibilities across Latin America, reporting to the Policy and Government Relations LA OU Director.
- Design, lead and coordinate the regional long-term strategy to engage on public policies related to packaging, water, climate, and agriculture.
- Implement strategic plans to ensure that our goals and objectives are aligned with the regulatory frameworks.
- Provide support to local and regional teams on managing contingencies and developing plans to engage on public policy discussions on sustainability.
- Map competencies at each operation/franchise to efficiently execute a winning public policy agenda on sustainability issues.
- Provide support to ensure that all territories have the knowledge, competencies, tools, and resources to maximize their impact.
- Engage with third parties such as governments, civil society, and private sector, and build coalitions so that the Coca-Cola System takes part in public policy conversations.
- Deep understanding of metrics, goals and objectives of our sustainability pillars and their local status.
- Combine contingencies’ requirements with long term needs - 3 years.
- Manage Opex budget for external consultancy.

**Qualification & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred;
- 5-10 years’ experience in public affairs in public, private or NGO sector; experience in public policies related to sustainability is a plus.
- Working understanding across multi-cultural, matrixed organization;
- Developed stakeholder network;
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate complex issues to drive tangible business actions.

**Work Focus**

Ability to analyze complex business and regulatory issues, manage divergent stakeholders at a regional level and bring together multiple concepts across functions to define the long-term regulatory strategy for the business.

**Communication Focus**

The role leads communication on a regular basis with key internal and/or external parties, and has the responsibility for sharing information, influencing, and negotiating with key parties and stakeholders with both shared and opposing interests.
