**The Role**:

- _ Participate in the month end close activities - support reporting and review and analyse results based on the business requirements_
- _ Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting_
- _ Provide analysis on Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Headcount and any other items as needed_
- _ Provide analysis and supporting documentation to production overheads_
- _ Analyse past results, perform _variance analysis_, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements and optimization_
- _ Work with different functions to collect information for variance analysis_
- _ Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports_
- _ Provide timely and accurate financial and non-financial information on efficiency, productivity and profitability of operations in order to support the decision making by management_
- _ Prepare reports on efficiencies and non-efficiencies and communicate such information to those who need it_
- _ Perform _financial forecasting_, reporting, and operational metrics tracking_
- _ Assist management in the review of operational budgets and forecasts as required_
- _ Work closely with the team on the cost reduction initiatives_
- _ Support the short term and long term business plan on Overheads & Capex_
- _ Provide ongoing and ad-hoc reports and automated tools to support management and decision making_
- _ Identify problems and recommend appropriate action to management_
- _ Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements_
- _ Identify the potential for improvement of business control and update, implement and maintain procedures_
- _ Assist Business Controller in the preparation of the labour and overhead rates, ensuring they are accurately reflected in the production environment_
- _ Support Business Controller in the following areas as and when required: tax compliance, management of inventory, financial systems, and internal and external audit_
- _ Participates fully in assigned training programs_
- _ Demonstrates responsibility along with all employees for acting at all times in a manner which promotes the health and safety of all personnel (employees and visitors alike) and users of Edwards equipment. Reports any observed hazards utilizing the tools provided. Participates in corrective measures when appropriate. _Strictly adheres to PPE requirements_
- _ Perform other duties as assigned_

**What We Expect of You?**
- _ Education and Experience:_
- _ University degree - BA (Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management), ACCA in progress would be an advantage_
- _ 5+ years working experience in Finance_
- _ Respective working experience as a Business or Financial Analyst_
- _ P&L and Balance Sheet understanding_
- _ Understanding of manufacturing processes and how they relate to Finance_
- _ Experience in Oracle and SAP ERP system_
- _ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must, PPT, experience how to build PowerBI Dashboards_
- _ Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal & written)_

- _ You have good understanding of IFRS, management & statutory accounting_
