Role Purpose

To ensure that Internal Fraud risks are detected and managed,

has a multi-stage framework to mitigate internal fraud risk. This approach utilizes a combination of activities and controls within

and other key control owners. Fraud Management Team have a special role in order to identify, asses, manage concerns about Internal Fraud, in this sense, the Fraud analytics team as part of LAM Fraud Management is responsible for developing, deploying and enhancing fraud systems and strategies to protect the business against the risk of financial losses.

The Internal Fraud Management role holder is responsible for:
Ensuring fraud analytics and related solutions (Fraud Management Strategy Controls) are operating at optimum effectiveness; achieving the desired balance between fraud detection and customer experience.

Designed and performed automated procedures to provide efficient and effective way to analyze data while providing management insight into potential data issues and Risk

Lead the analytics team and create a consistent approach to fraud management across the Regional teams and lines of business.

Have a proven analytical background, and a history of using statistics and analytical solutions to solve complex issues whilst having a strong awareness of the impact strategies have on the customer base.

Have strong communication skills to help link activities from the Regional analytical teams with the central function to ensure that enhancements and new approaches balance the need to work to a common framework whilst aware of and Regional factors that may result in the need for specific amendments/changes.

Support and assist to Internal Fraud Global Team, with all activity to on-board onto continually evolving platforms, technology and adopt new features and propose tactical solutions to local LoB

Support during the Internal Fraud Incidents Process

Develop standardization, automation and optimization mechanism to streamline the existing fraud strategies

Principal Accountabilities:
Key activities and decision making areas

Identify, analyze and report on potential exposure of top and emerging fraud risks

Detailed understanding of the impact for the local adoption of new analytical practices

Develop new analytical.

Help support fraud analytics knowledge and input into local/regional projects.

Support the introduction of new fraud models and software that will impact Fraud Analytics and local Fraud Management teams.

Compile feedback and results on strategic initiatives to share with the other Analytics and Fraud teams and stakeholders.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

Graduate (Mathematics, Industrial Engineer, Administrator)

Positive, proactive leadership and management skills, to drive the development of a high performing team

Exceptional analytical, planning and governance skills

Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues

Strong analytical skills, ability to use statistical packages including base, Teradata, SAS enterprise guide and SQL

Experience of fraud processes and controls.

An ability to assess multiple attributes, analyses for outcomes and make decisions that deliver against all components of the business.

Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on data and understand the implications.

Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting

Priorities

Excellent understanding of project methodology, frameworks and best practice.
