Our Technology teams work closely with HSBC’s global businesses to help design and build digital services that allow our millions of customers around the world; to bank quickly, simply and securely. We also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data-centres and core banking systems that power the world’s leading international bank. Our multi-disciplined Technology teams include amongst others: DevSecOps engineers, IT architects, front and back-end developers, infrastructure specialists, cybersecurity experts, and delivery, project and programme managers. You will be part of a cross functional product team delivering products into production in ever shortening cycles and helping to drive the continuous improvement of our processes, tooling and engineering practices. We welcome all talented Agile engineers from those who can sit across the whole stack, or specialist front end or back end software developers.

Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains and with plans for continued expansion throughout 2023 and beyond, we are currently seeking a Tech Lead WPB Technology, to join HSBC.

**Responsibilities**
- Overseeing the tracking of project/s risk/issues/dependencies, assessing the impact on the benefit realization for the project/s and takes action to minimize impact, actively challenging and removing obstacles to ensure the successful delivery of the committed technology deliverables.
- Influences and collaborates with senior stakeholders and delivery partners (including supplier teams) to drive the right project outcomes. Represents the project team at discussions regarding project prioritization and to create buy-in for risk mitigation, contingency planning and timely decision making.
- Works with the SVS Leads to ensure roadmap execution, planning, estimation, technology resourcing is on track and providing a holistic end-to-end view on business requirements being met.
- Ensures the baselined scope, requirements, benefits and schedule are managed, identifies and intervenes where there is slippage and variance from plan
- Obtains sponsor and stakeholder buy in to plans, key commitments and changes against baseline as they arise while working with them to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Sets the pace and operating rhythm, driving a culture of achievement and ensures pace by identifying and removing barriers to project success
- This role is responsible for the end-to-end planning and delivery of the programme portfolio proactively balancing scope, schedule, risks, team, outcomes and benefits. They ensure alignment of their project with the wider change portfolio and the Group Strategy, Values and Behaviours.
- You will need to be technically minded, be risk control aware and be able to create relationships and communicate with the teams, especially for external compliance and control teams.
Requirements

**Requeriments**
- University degree in Information Technology (Computer Science) or related area
- Strong knowledge of OOP principles, Web, API technologies
- Strong knowledge JAVA and Spring boot
- Experience working with Rest Web services and frameworks as Spring boot
- Use efficiently DevOps tools (Jenkins, Nexus, Github or others)
- Demonstrate analytical and practical approach towards problem solving
- Develop integrations based on RAML/SWAGGER/OAS languages
- Knowledge in Cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP)
- Cloud skills (Docker, kubernetes, IKP)
- Monitoring skills (Splunk, APPDynamics)
- Designing and developing, consuming RESTful, SOAP, and Microservices
- Integration Technologies as Mulesoft/API, SpringBoot
- Strong knowledge on Gateways technologies (Mulesoft, Kong)
- Test API Interfaces and documentation for usability, functionality and performance
- Support Fix Integration and Acceptance Tests
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of English languages
- Knowledge in Agile Methodologies
- Strong knowledge for best coding practices (Desirable)
- Integration Technologies as ZOSConnect (Desirable)
