Sales Engineer
The role as the Sales Engineer will be to manage customer accounts. Individual will be accountable for all communications to these accounts, account activity, growing revenues, growing market share within and cultivating relationships. Timely reports and presentations will also be required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the assigned accounts
- Provide Day-to-Day account management of assigned accounts
- Demonstrate Strategic and Tactical revenue growth opportunities within assigned accounts
- Contact and visit customers on a regular basis
- Establish, maintain and grow solid relationships with corporate buyers
- Grow market share within existing customer base and assigned accounts
- Penetrate new targeted accounts and opportunities on a regular basis
- Manage sales quotes and documentation as required
- Provide updates and feedback regarding market trends, competitive analysis, industry developments and field reconnaissance
- Participate in events and industry trade shows as required
- Manage and oversee all pricing to the customer and update as required
- Be an active participant in Cost Improvement Processes
- Be an active participant in company standards policies and certification processes
- Be accountable for meeting objectives and deadlines as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree required
- Minimum 7+ year’s diverse sales experience with large account activity. Corporate Sales Experience a must and needs to be able to demonstrate ability to penetrate targeted corporate accounts
- Machining or Foundry background a benefit
- Requires basic understanding of machining/foundry operations
- Solid PC skills
- Well-developed communication and diplomacy skills
- Must be customer driven with strong customer service skills
- Position requires travel
- Must be able to multi task
