**Facilities & Machinery Maintenance Manager**
**Major Tasks**
- Designs and coordinates annual preventive and corrective maintenance programs at site to minimize equipment downtime and failures, maximizing the productivity and effectiveness of equipment to positively impact workflowsand site operations.
- Ensure the appropriate maintenance programs for all the facilities and infrastructures at site to delivery adequate working conditions aligning with the principal of order and cleanliness.
- Participate with site operations and Bayer engineering department for capital projects related to equipment and facilities upgrades.
- Design workflows, tools, reports and implement technology to follow up the status of maintenance programs and Capital Investment.
- Adopt and implement Bayer working safety standards across the area, providing co workers a great and safe place to work.
- Attracts and develops talent into the organization, establishing succession plans by using Bayer systems, and tools for people development Support and comply with legal regulations for proper site operation whether local, internal, or global requirements.
- Anticipate a planning workflow to properly organize the day to day operations within the area, in addition to balance workload among employees with their personal life.
- Create and continuously upgrade standard operating procedures, as a base of working under a system.
- Coordinates recruitment of seasonal labor, according to workflow demands.
- Develops and tracks metrics on process, used for decision making and continuous improvement.
- Adopt and promote Bayer Safety Standards, to ensure employees work on a safe environment, reducing/eliminating risk of incidents.
- Adopt and promote sustainable practices on the area, following Bayer policies and available materials, with the objective to enhance a sustainability culture on site.
- Develops and attracts talent, for succession plans, following Bayer systems for people attractionand people development.
**Skills**
- BS in Engineer (Mechatronics, Robotics, Architect or Civil Engineer) or related discipline, MS or higher degree would be desirable.
- Minimum 3 years of proven effective leadership and business strategy development.
- Team leadership skills including excellent coaching and organization skills.
- The job requires the social competencies, networking developing and communication skills to understand, influence and motivate through leadership (LIFE values).
- Results oriented with strong drive for continuous improvement, effective use of technology and innovations to create a competitive advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of English, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fosters use of digital and analytic tools.
