Lhoist North America, a major supplier of lime, limestone, and minerals products to the North American marketplace, is seeking experienced Process Engineers, Project Engineers, and Automation Engineers to join their teams in the United States.

If you have proven experience in control systems, industrial automation, process engineering, mechanical engineering, AutoCAD, or similar disciplines, this is an opportunity you need to pursue Relocation services may be provided. Applicants must be able to read and speak English.

Project Engineer Responsibilities:

- The Project Engineer contributes to the delivery of small to large CAPEX projects (greenfield, brownfield, optimization, etc.).
- Collects existing site information (drawings, P&ID, utilities )
- Makes site survey, 3D scans and takes site measurement as required.
- Prepares and develop conceptual designs.
- Makes preliminary Flow Sheets.
- Makes preliminary GA drawings (2D and 3D drawings).
- Makes preliminary equipment and instrument lists.
- Prepares all necessary documentations for the Project cost estimation and tendering process.
- Contributes to technical evaluation and clarification during the bid and contract process.
- Provides guidance to external engineering team.
- Checks and Reviews detailed engineering documents and drawings.
- Participates in Safety, Maintenance, Operability and Construction reviews.
- Transmit construction documents to construction team.
- Manages and archives all technical documents related to the project.
- Controls and inspects construction sites and fabrication shops as required.
- Provides guidance and support to site team during construction.
- Assists during commissioning and start-up, as well as trainings and hand over to operations.
- Contributes to the after-action review (lessons learned, etc.) report.

Automation Engineer Responsibilities:

- Provide Automation support to LNA sites to achieve a high level of equipment safety, network security and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate effectively with the IT function to support segregation of IT/OT networks and cybersecurity
- Support and programming of Wonderware Intouch, Wonderware Historian, Rockwell PlantPAx and Factory Talk View SE systems at the plants.
- Maintain regular backup of all devices (VMs, PLCs, HMI’s, Network Switches, VFD’s, etc.)
- Work with Capital Projects/Engineering team as necessary.
- Program, configure and setup, Allen Bradley 750 series drives, SMC Flex soft starts, E3 plus and E300 overloads.
- Follow LNA standards for automation systems to ensure continuity for best practices and effective support.
- Support and lead automation upgrades and implement corporate process control strategies and standards.
- Support the implementation of plant process networks and automation improvement projects.
- Support design and programming of process control and automation systems in the plants
- Maintain process network and automation system at plants.
- Maintain up-to-date network architecture diagrams.
- Provide technical assistance to all plant personnel in troubleshooting and solving process control and automation system problems.
- Set up maintenance, calibration and interconnectivity of precision instruments, meters.

Process Engineer Responsibilities:

- To challenge and develop process mastery and energy efficiency in our plants by leading technical & operational advancements that contribute to reducing operating costs while enhancing product quality and ensuring environment compliance.
