**ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR - REMOTE**

**_Key Responsibilities: _**

Creative Strategy
- Develop creative strategies and innovative ideas to solve client marketing and communication challenges across a variety of forms and channels—from brainstorming to campaign concept to execution
- Effectively communicate that vision to colleagues and clients by skillfully crafting and presenting brief, insights, inspiration and content

Creative Execution and Team Leadership
- Lead designers and work closely with account team members to ensure on-brand design, accurate message content and adherence to the platform—including managing timelines and budgets, as well as quality and performance standards
- Provide copywriting, proofreading and content edits as needed
- Manage vendor procurement and relationships to complete tasks
- Manage workflow to organize and prioritize workloads and maximize productivity
- Provide reporting, metrics and analysis to optimize and refine campaigns
- Keep abreast of cultural and industry trends that affect our clients’ audiences and technological advances that affect our approach and execution
- Drive continuous process improvement to discover efficiencies and make recommendations with the creative department

Client Management / Business Development
- Help develop business development strategies for new and existing clients. Generate ideas that excite clients and expand their perceptions of what the agency can do to help them drive results
- Understand the clients’ business objectives and how those objectives relate to the target audience to assist in generating relevant creative ideas

- Decision-Making - The ability to use sound and logical judgment in regards to client, staff and vendor issues.
- Initiative - The ability to take action by oneself without direction from others, as well as anticipate agency and client needs.
- Flexibility - The ability to manage multiple projects, clients and concerns at the same time.
- Written Communications - The ability to deliver clear, concise and accurate message through written means.
- Oral Communications - The ability to deliver clear, concise and accurate messages verbally and via presentation; to listen carefully to others.
- Collaboration - The ability to work well with others at all times including under time-pressures and stress.
- Investigative - The ability to constantly ask “why?” and create “what if ?” questions, and undertake the steps to answer them.

**_Requirements: _**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Design, Advertising, Communications or other related field of study
- 7+ years of experience in creative marketing with a branding, advertising, or interactive agency, or relevant client side experience, 2+ years of experience in marketing leadership
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and cross-functionally
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft 365)
- Experience with the following a plus:

- Adobe design products - Mac Platform preferred
- Web usability and SEO knowledge
- Social media platforms and management tools
- Strong understanding of marketing and design principles
