**Overview**
Responsible for leading the Construction, Field Services and supporting Operation functions at Thermon Latinoamericana Mexico TLA.
The position is accountable for successfully managing Construction and Field Services function, Projects and supporting Operation activities to meet performance objectives in customer deliveries, cost, productivity, quality, HSE, regulatory compliance and product stewardship.
Position will be based out of our office in Mexico City, DF located at Calle Alonso Esparza Oteo #149. Colonia Guadalupe Inn, Alcaldia Obregon, Ciudad de Mexico 01020. Mexico.
**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include**:
- Oversee, direct management and development of Construction, Maintenance and Field Services team as per Thermon's strategy. Current direct reports include 3 Construction Project Managers and Constructions Field Services Personnel.
- Responsible for operational budgeting and forecasting, driving continuous improvements throughout the company, world-class safety performance and achieving results through the development of employees.
- Achieve the annual safety and health performance targets while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. (Company, customer, governmental, environmental).
- Direct involvement with the staffing and hiring of key assets necessary to create an industry-leading Service, Construction & Operation team.
- Oversee and direct development of Construction Policies and Procedures.
- Review projects in depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Ensure Thermon meets contractual conditions of performance.
- Ensure internal and external reports pertaining to project or contract status is maintained.
- Inspect and review projects and/or contracts to monitor compliance with the Inspection Test Plan and quality procedures.
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
Drive project execution to safely meet or exceed customer expectations while driving profitability and margin growth for the corporation.- Forecast manpower requirements.
- Coordinate project supervision
- Coordination between Operations, Site Managers, Project Managers and Engineering
- Monitor and responsible for implementing project controls.
- Responsible for the Development and managing annual construction operating budget.
- Oversees manpower training (Supervisor training, Safety, Technical training, THT reporting requirements).
- Conduct WIP reports monthly.
- Responsible for timesheet recording.
- Accountable for timely and accurate billing.
- Monthly project revenue and margin reporting.

- Project cost
- Project Profitability
- Change orders
- Customer satisfaction
- Reviews/Participate in construction project estimating.
- Other as assigned by Management.
**Qualifications**
- Must be Bilingual and fluent in both English/Spanish (read, write, converse).
- Possess superior business acumen with an undergraduate degree in related field combined with extensive Project Management experience. MBA, MS or similar degree would also be a plus.
- Strong cross-cultural communicator and relationship builder at all levels of internal and client organization(s) with the ability to work effectively across functions.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial construction field services management Well-developed business acumen and be able to balance a strategic focus with the ability to dig into the details administratively and drive day-to-day performance.
- Excellent people leader skills capable of inspiring and developing a best-in-class organization where results, attitude and behaviors are modeled at all levels.
- Proven experience in the restructuring or repositioning of the construction team; have trained, developed, and retained a strong construction team and have hired effectively from outside the company when needed.
- Strong technical ability. Ability to understand and communicate technology and specifications to customers.
- Ability to partner effectively with a senior leadership team and functional leaders in a matrixed environment.
- Must be able to travel extensively mostly within Mexico. Travel may be required to US to attend business meetings.
