**Reporting to**: Quality and R&D Manager

**POSITION PURPOSE**

Ensure the correct execution of the techniques and methods for the chemical analysis laboratory, necessary for the release of both raw material and finished product and WIP, also ensuring adherence to corporate policies and central laboratory guidelines; It will also be responsible for ensuring that all the equipment has its calibration and maintenance routines properly in place and that the laboratories have all the necessary tools and supplies for the correct performance of all processes in the laboratory, providing the correct training to develop the necessary competence and provide the tools so that quality analysts can properly perform their activities as well.

**FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES**

4.1 Provide support during out of specification product investigations/ RCA.

4.2 Provide recommendations for re-processing and/or recovery of out-of-specification product.

4.3 Verification that the established requirements or standards are met, so that the process continues with product in compliance with regulations and internal specifications.

4.4 Ensure alignment and compliance with the policy and global procedures established by the central laboratory, participating in pertinent annual evaluations to assure the accuracy of the results obtained.

4.5 Keep the CRT coordinator, QA superintendent, process and packaging superintendents informed of the activities carried out by the laboratory and results obtained.

4.7 Strong knowledge and understanding of the specifications of raw materials, supplies, WIP (work in process) and finished product (FP).

4.8 Interaction with all stages of the process: Assuring the production process continues with the specified quality.

4.9 Ensure that the operation of the laboratories maintain aligned with the requirements of the Q&FS System.

4.10 Assure all activities at the Laboratory are in accordance with policy and global procedures and generate the corresponding records to ensure compliance with the applicable requirements of the Integral Management System (IMS) implemented in Campari Mexico DSN.

4.11 Ensure compliance with the requirements established in terms of safety and hygiene (including reporting any unsafe condition or act to the person in charge of the EHS department); assure all personal at the laboratory is using correctly all assigned personal protective equipment.

4.12 Ensure proper treatment provided for the waste generated in the laboratory (identification, handling, and disposal), in accordance with the provisions of the Safety, Hygiene and Environment Procedure

4.13 Ensure the implementation and execution of the necessary analytical techniques within the laboratory, such as: Determination of %ART, %ARD, Brix, pH, %Hydrolysis, Viability, determination of %Alcohol volume, water analysis, tequila/chromatography analysis of gases, (When required).

4.14 Inspections in process, distillate, raw material, packaging, etc. (As required)

4.15 Random audit of the work for the quality analysts; Manage R&R tests and validation of correct completion of forms and signing of official analysis reports issued by the laboratory.

4.16 Validation, implementation, and improvement of laboratory analytical methods; including chromatography that help solve process control challenges and finished product release.

4.17 Random Inspections of supplies in laboratory and tests carried out by analysts.
