As Bid Manager you will coordinate internal activities to identify and understand the Customer's needs and also to influence Customer Specifications. In this position you will also promote the company and its products.

**We'll look to you for**:

- Ensure compliance with applicable Alstom rules & instructions
- Work closely with the Tender Leader and the full tender team, including Sub-System bid managers:

- Determine the complexity of the tender based on reliable information using a criticality matrix
- Build the schedule to prepare the offer in liaison with the Tender Leader
- Prepare and issue the Instructions for Quotations (IFQ)
- Support the Tender Leader in defining the bid commercial strategy
- Support the Tender Leader with Partners
- Support the Tender Leader in performing Win No Go, Tender Review Meeting (TRM), Tender Transfer Meeting (TTM), Win Loss Analysis (WLA), and consolidation of inputs from Support functions
- Support or act in lieu of the Tender Leader for Customer interaction during the tender phase (Q&A collection, administrative documentation, etc.)
- Support the Tender Leader in performing the Detailed Requirement Capture (Commercial part)

**Requirements**:

- Master's or bachelor's degree
- Project/Bid Management background, especially in costing, planning & risk management
- Excellent communications skills in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

**Competencies we are looking for**:

- Basic knowledge of offered products and systems
- Sufficient knowledge of financial, contractual, and legal aspects to interface with internal relevant parties and assess impacts on costing
- High capability to manage efficient teamwork to produce tender deliverables within a limited time period and under stressful conditions
- Strong communication and reporting capabilities
- Sense of anticipation
- Negotiation skills; Customer-oriented
