Windows Engineer
- Conduct thorough research on emerging issues and industry best practices to promptly stabilize supported technologies.
- Uphold a client-centric approach by aligning with Vendor best practices.
- Spearhead CI/CD automation processes for the installation, configuration, deployment, and support of Wintel based systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in PowerShell, PowerCLI, PHP, & Ansible.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, and propose innovative technical solutions/enhancements to the team and clients for approval and implementation.
- Maintain and operate within a testing environment that closely mirrors the client’s actual setup, utilizing it for change control and pre-production testing.
- Engage in project tracking activities.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLSETS REQUIRED:

- Preferably certified in MCSE and MCSA for current Windows operating systems.
- Proficient in Windows 2K3-2019 Installation, Configuration, and Support.
- Highly skilled in scripting and automation languages like PowerShell, PowerCLI, Ansible Tower\YAML, & PHP. - Experience with SAN, iSCSI, HBA Installation, Configuration, and troubleshooting. - In-depth understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP, and VMware technologies.
- Familiarity with distributed computing via RDP and akin technologies.
- Understanding of Web technology, site administration, and IIS security configuration. - Proficiency in Helm charts. - Ability to evaluate server performance and recommend enhancements.

Specific Job Requirements:

- A college degree or equivalent, with a background in computer operations and networking.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in enterprise-grade environments.
