**About the Role**:
We are looking for a diligent staff accountant to join our accounting department. The staff accountant's responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, taking ownership during month-end close.

To be successful as a staff accountant, you should be able to accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP). An outstanding staff accountant should also have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

We ensure that compliance is efficiently maintained using systems and well defined processes to achieve this. We play a critical role in Landing's mission and we partner closely with the business to make the company more successful. Our accounting team includes a Revenue Team and an Expense Team that work closely together, reporting to the VP Corporate Controller along with specialist roles such as Tax, Payroll, and External Reporting.

**Staff Accountant Responsibilities**:

- **Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts**:

- Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations to assist with monthly close
- Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and expenses
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Meeting processing and reporting deadlines
- Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits
- Ensuring compliance with US GAAP

**Staff Accountant Requirements**:
