**Compliance Analyst**

Global Risk & Compliance is looking for an Analyst to support the Compliance Manager in the continued support, oversee, and development of an effective Compliance Program for** Consumer Business Initiatives, NPA´s compliance review process approval, Conduct Risk, Quality Assurance of ARB process, and Sales Practices, and Marketing Offers Process Review and Fulfillment in the México market**, to be consistent with applicable Local laws and regulations, including American Express Policies and guidelines.

**How will you make an impact in this role?**
- Co-ordinate, compile & maintain Compliance reports and records of Compliance activities
- Provide Compliance advice to ICS and TLS Consumer Line of Business, by analyzing legislative & regulatory compliance requirements, and translating those requirements into efficient operational processes, policies & procedures
- Review & provide Compliance sign-off on advertising & marketing material, business Initiatives proposals, policies & procedures, and other related documents
- Contribute to the execution of Compliance reviews programs to ensure compliance with legislative & regulatory requirements, as well as with internal American Express policies & procedures
- Contribute to building a compliance culture by actively participating in awareness and training events, newsletters etc.
- Responsible for a good understanding of Compliance regulations, policies and procedures
- Partnership, Leverage, and fulfill requirements with international compliance teams about local business compliance practices.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, standards and policies relevant to the American Express Company ICS Consumer and TLS Business.
- Oversight Business Self Testing for Consumer by demonstrating comprehensive understanding of the regulatory requirements for the México Market and how these translate into business processes.
- Act as point of contact for American Express ICS Consumer areas ensuring queries and general questions are collated and addressed in a timely manner.
- Support the Compliance Manager with Consumer projects and initiatives requiring Compliance involvement and the execution of key Compliance projects, such as New products approvals, discontinuation of products, migration. etc.
- Assist in all administrative aspects of the program including, but not limited to, maintaining central records on compliance training activities, meeting minutes, updating program documentation.

**Qualifications**
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English.
- Excellent skills for registration and self motivated for follow up of items without supervision.
- Skills for create executive presentations
- Knowledge of the ICS Consumer Line of Business and its products, processes, and platforms **Is a must**.
- Knowledge of Compliance Internal Policies such as (AEMP39, AEMP54, Compliance related policies, etc)
- Leadership Skills and accountability to can **lead**, attend, give follow up, and resolution of business Initiatives themes as well as Compliance guidance for Business Initiatives and Marketing Offers.
- Must have good planning and time management/prioritization skills
- Able to translate Compliance requirements into business-friendly language, as well as relationship management skills
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently to strict timelines and able to manage conflicting and changing priorities
- Must display analytical skills, attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Ability to step in to different roles when required and deputies for Compliance Manager when needed to support the business and Compliance colleagues
- Provide strong internal communication on compliance policies, strategy, goals, and program development
- Maintain the high standards of integrity and commitment to the principles of American Express
