**Mission**:
As an Engineering Manager, your mission is to lead and inspire a team of engineers to design, develop, and innovate cutting-edge automotive and EV technologies. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation by ensuring high-quality products and efficient processes.

**Role**:
The Engineering Manager oversees technical projects, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and drives engineering excellence. You'll be responsible for translating strategic goals into actionable plans, fostering innovation, and maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and sustainability.

**Key Functions and Responsibilities**:
1. Team Leadership:

- Build and mentor a talented engineering team.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members.

2. Project Management:

- Plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones and adherence to budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and manufacturing teams.

3. Technical Expertise:

- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers.
- Review designs, specifications, and prototypes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

4. Process Improvement:

- Identify process bottlenecks and implement efficiency enhancements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize product development workflows.

5. Quality Assurance:

- Establish quality standards and ensure compliance.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of automotive components.
- Address any quality issues promptly.

6. Risk Management:

- Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Anticipate challenges related to EV technology adoption and address them proactively.

7. Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, supply chain).
- Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

**Required Experience and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, EV components, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance technical expertise with strategic thinking.

**Academic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Fluent proficiency English Spanish
- Certified PMP, preferred.
