**You Are**:
UST is searching for a Strategic Design Consultant who under the guidance of Consultant II, work closely with the client business and account leadership teams to align transformation programs with underlying technical solutions to business needs.

**The Opportunity**:

- Project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management
- Other project documentation preparation for this project of medium to high business complexity (involving multiple systems interfaces that are highly visible to the organization).
- Works with stakeholders at every level of the organization soliciting strategic imperatives from senior leaders and executives; supporting business unit managers as they leverage business architecture and product development artifacts to create and implement client business plans.
- Provide direct input into the governance cycle that supports the achievement of key goals, planning, and execution of various scenarios, and delivery of bottom-line value for the business
- Help client business and leadership team with problem definition
- Collaborate and contribute to business and technology consulting projects to deliver client objectives
- Perform assessments of client business processes, organizational change, IT processes, and technology landscape, identifying transformational recommendations
- Develop a business and technical architecture strategy based on situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations.
- Capture the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.
- Describe the primary business functions of the enterprise and distinguish between customer-facing, supplier-related, business execution, and business management functions.
- Define the set of strategic, core, and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries; identify and describe external entities such as customers, suppliers, and external systems that interact with the business; and describe which people, resources, and controls are involved in the processes.
- Define the data shared across the enterprise and the relationships between the data.
- Capture the relationships among roles, capabilities, and business units, the decomposition of those business units into subunits, and the internal or external management of those units.
- Project plan preparation from high level to technical details level, plan and estimate milestones/activities (effort/duration), and identify role/skills set per activity

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

**What you need**:

- Management of multiple concurrent priorities skills
- Effective communications skills
- Risk management skills
- Infrastructure projects management experience (DR, obsolescence, hardening, Security, monitoring)
- Software projects management experience is a plus (to understand SLDC and products lifecycle)
- Exceptional ability to communicate technical decisions/issues to different stakeholders
- Strong organization skills (document, log, and track actions, and issues...)
- Technical background is a plus (system engineer, IT operations,)
- Experience working in a company based on an ITIL environment (Change management, incident management, service management...)
