Digital Manufacturing Operations Engineer Sr

Purpose Statement: The role is responsible for optimizing and managing the processes and systems involved in manufacturing operations using digital technologies. They utilize tools such as automation, data analytics, simulation, and machine learning to improve efficiency, quality, and agility in manufacturing processes. Their role involves implementing digital solutions to streamline production, reduce costs and enhance overall performance in manufacturing facilities.

Key Job Accountabilities:

- Develops Manufacturing solutions/ Provide services that are innovative, high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy all stakeholder's (customer, manufacturing, material, agency, etc.) needs and requirements through an established area of technical expertise and mentorship of others within site
- Demonstrates expertise in Plexus Manufacturing process, Product Requirements & Specifications on small to mid-size projects
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently in multiple phases / processes without direction from mentors or functional management, as it applies to their role
- Authorizes and prioritizes the release of software and how and when the change takes effect.
- Produces comprehensive project documentation based on the needs of the project and in accordance with the quality and change management procedures and guidelines
- Establish and maintain the global standards to enable best practice sharing and knowledge transfer

Education/Experience Qualifications:

- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or science is required
- Minimum Five (5) years of related experience is required
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered

- Computer skills in the areas of; Business Intelligence, Product Configuration and Management, Production Control, Quality Records, Production Maintenance & Calibration
- Advanced Decision-Making, Problem-Solving Skills
- Advanced Verbal and Written Communications Skills
- Strong Analytical and statistical analysis Skills; Statistical Process Control Software Skills
- Proactive and able to work in a matrix environment
- Understand Structured Design and takes a disciplined approach to lead design
- Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers
- Business Intelligence (Cube Reports, Dashboards, KMS, Customer Portals, Basic Programming)
- Product Configuration and Management (PLM, Routings, BoM Structures, Product Tree, CAD/CAM, Labelling, Equipment Programming)
- Production Control (SPICE (SPC), Productivity Tracking, Assembly Build Instructions, Tooling, Assembly Materials, Production Monitors, Simulation)
- Quality Records (Traceability, First Article, Deviation Management, Sampling, Custom Data Collection (CDC’s), C of C’s, Data Analysis)
- Production Maintenance & Calibration (TMP Systems, Asset Tracking, Acceptance & Validation, Calibration, Automation)
