This role involves applying engineering principles to design, modify, or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment, or processes used in processing or manufacturing products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs that existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods can produce.
- Lead projects related to facilities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Research facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs that existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods can produce.
- Define feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors.
- Provide technical facilities information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations affecting long-range plant and product engineering planning.
- Compile and research facilities research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment.
- Study engineering and technical publications to stay up-to-date with technical changes and developments in the industry.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Guide projects and project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Facilitate facilities engineering construction activities at MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Process) discipline.
- Perform fault/root cause analysis and review (FRACAS) to identify and resolve issues.
- Manage utilities such as steam, cooling media, heating media, water systems, and compressed air.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience as a project engineer.
- Intermediate-level English proficiency.
- Mastery of one or more areas in the electronic, automotive, and manufacturing industries.
