Job Summary

Job summary:

- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Buyer Direct_ located in _Guadalajara, North Campus_._
- Reporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct, Buyer Direct role involves_ _Coordinates activities involved with procuring direct materials, components and equipment._

What a typical day looks like:

- _ Mainteining relations with the suppliers._
- _ Placing orders for necessary raw materials and purchased parts according to the requirements of the production._
- _ Receiving and handling the confirmations._
- _ Checking the purchase orders and modifying them according to the changes in the production plan with the help of the Shortage List and the Open Purchase Order List._
- _ Tracking shipments, urging them if needed._
- _ Regular, weekly check of the stocks, avoiding overstock._
- _ Minimizing the risk of obsolescence with the help of the weekly check of the obsolete report._
- _ Correspondence with the freight forwarders, warehouses, and in case organizing the transportation._
- _ Dealing with claims, settling debit and credit issues._
- _ Filing and recording all necessary documents_
- _ Checking the inventory of critical materials (personally if needed) according to the Shortage List._
- _ Getting in touch with the right warehouse personnel and having the discrepancy modified if there is any inventory discrepancies._
- _ Handling purchasing data privacy._
- _ Assuring all active components according to production needs, in time, for the accord price in the request._
- _ Reviews requisitions and MRP output._
- _ Confers with vendors to obtain product information such as price, availability and delivery schedule._
- _ Orders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output._
- _ Maintains procurement records such as items purchased, costs, delivery and inventories._
- _ Manages supplier to price, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate._
- _ Approves invoices for payment._
- _ Investigation inventory levels._
- _ Monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle._
- _ Conducts quarterly supplier reviews._
- _ Maintains procurement records, reports and metrics._

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- _ BA/BS/MBA_
- _ Senior procurement experience._
- _ Advance English_
- _ Use of the following tools may be required: Working usage of Word, Excel and Power Point, data entry, ten-key, spreadsheet (PC), ERP software._
- _ Ability to read, research and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and acknowledges to questions from groups.._
- _ Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations._
- _ Good communication skills._
