**British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Coordinator in Monterrey**

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Guide all those responsible for each department of the Factory for the monitoring and/or compliance with the objectives, goals, procedures, regulatory guidelines and/or EH&S-BAT policies.
- Develop and/or update the Safety Regulations applicable to Internal and/or external personnel in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal requirements of the company.
- Annually update the Factory's EHS risk assessment required by Government Agencies and BAT Guidelines in order to implement actions in coordination with management to minimize the main risks.
- Guarantee that information, records and legal documents, referring to EHS issues are complete, secure and fully identified to provide evidence of compliance with official requirements or policies applicable to the company.
- Develop and/or implement Factory EHS operating procedures, as well as audit and promote compliance in the different areas of the production and services areas.
- Perform periodic Environment, Hygiene and Safety inspections in all areas of the Factory to identify opportunity areas or unsafe conditions/practices. Make solution proposals to the Factory Managers regarding the corrective and/or preventive actions that must be taken and follow up on their implementation.
- Follow up main KPIs of the Area

**What are we looking for?**
- 2+ years of experience working in EHS or Sustainability Department
- Knowledge of industrial safety issues.
- Ability to perform and participate in audits.
- Teamwork, leadership, Communication and Negotiation.
- Focused on results.
- BA in: Industrial Engineering, Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental or similar.
- Proficient level of MS Office Applications
- Advanced English: written and speaking.
