Eaton’s EPG CHD EP LATAM division is currently seeking a Finance Director.
**What you’ll do**:
**FUNCION PRINCIPAL**
Esta posición es responsable de planear, organizar, dirigir y controlar las funciones financieras de las entidades de la región Latinoamericana (LatAm), incluyendo Contabilidad General, Contabilidad de Costos, Planeación y Análisis Financiero, Contraloría, Cuentas por Cobrar y Cumplimiento de Comercio Exterior, para asegurar la adecuada gestión de los recursos económicos y salvaguarda de activos.
**FUNCIONES ESENCIALES**:
A. Participar en la gestión del negocio monitoreando, analizando e interpretando reportes de operación y financieros, dando sugerencias para identificar y solucionar problemas del negocio.
B. Dirigir y controlar las funciones financieras, desarrollando políticas y procedimientos.
C. Establecer, coordinar y administrar un plan para el control de las operaciones incluyendo servicios públicos, estados financieros, presupuesto, gastos, costos además de proyectos de capital, pagos de dividendos, regalías y financiación.
D. Dirigir y controlar el flujo de cobranza incluyendo el control de cuentas y préstamos bancarios junto a Tesorería para el registro, mantenimiento y distribución de fondos en conjunto con otras intercompañías.
E. Analizar las necesidades de capital de trabajo y por consiguiente de flujo de efectivo para coordinar con GFSS y Tesorería dichas necesidades con instituciones financieras o el cash pool del Eaton México.
F. Dirigir y controlar la emisión de Estados Financieros, cuando aplique de acuerdo a las regulaciones estatutarias locales, estados comparativos y reportes, declaraciones y dictámenes fiscales, manuales de procedimiento e información estadística para soportar los requerimientos del Staff Directivo y el Corporativo.
G. Preparar políticas para implementación contable junto al GFSS, la División y el Corporativo en línea con políticas corporativas, determinación de costos estándar, cambios de acuerdo a requerimientos gubernamentales y de proveedores.
H. Monitorear el desempeño de la compañía en utilidad y capital de trabajo a corto (forecasts) y largo plazo (Budget y Plan a 5 años).
I. Preparar, consolidar y dar seguimiento al Budget de la región, así como al Plan a 5 años.
J. Autorizar pagos fuera del proceso automático de P2P (Compras, POs y Tesorería) como pueden ser Non-POs y UPRs (pagos urgentes), así como pagos intercompañía como dividendos, regalías, compras y préstamos.
K. Reportar en tiempo y forma al Corporativo procesos rutinarios como cierres mensuales, forecast y Budget así como requerimientos especiales.
**Qualifications**:
**CONOCIMIENTO ESPECIALIZADO**:
- Licenciatura en Administración de Empresas, Contabilidad o Finanzas.
- Maestría en Finanzas o Administración de Empresas (MBA).
- Nível de Inglés C1 (escrito y oral).
- Más de 10 años de experiência en posiciones similares (multi sitio/planta, multi país), preferentemente en la industria metal mecánica o sector industrial.
- Conocimientos sólidos de USGAAP y SOX.
- Preferible experiência en Contraloría y también en Planeación Financiera.
- Preferible experiência con SAP R3 (especialmente FICO)

- Tener experiência en interacción y coordinación con Centros de Servicios Compartidos.
- Poseer habilidades de negociación con las demás áreas de la empresa, con la División, Corporativo y GFSS así como con clientes y proveedores.
- Desarrollar de equipos de trabajo, realizar evaluaciones de desempeño y brindar feedback constructivo a reportes, así como crear planes de sucesión.
