**Resumen del trabajo**:
Lead Monterrey’s MPF Lab team responsible for product safety testing and certification of all Acuity products. Oversee day-to-day operations of the laboratory team including scheduling and review of testing, obtaining and maintaining NOM, Retilap and other product safety certifications. Perform tests as needed to ensure prompt certification of products. Interact with Lab customers to identify testing and product certification needs and ensure all required deliverables are timely completed. Work with Sales and Marketing teams to provide the solutions our customers need. Identify equipment needs for existing and new tests as well as maintain current equipment including calibration. Maintain laboratory accreditation with EMA and update capabilities and accreditations when business needs or standards change. Ensure that the laboratory is in compliance with the Laboratory Quality Manual. Take the Lab to next level, by identifying, developing and implementing improvements for the Lab’s Turnaround time, Efficiency and Effectiviness; grow the Lab’s capabilities and Testing Scope.

**Experiência (experiência mínima requerida)**:

- 5+ years of managing Engineering Test Labs certified by a Certifying Body working under the umbrella of ISO 17025, for example: UL’s CTDP (DAP), CSA’s SMTC program, EMA’s Accreditation Program, etc.
- Experience designing and building Engineering Test labs.
- Solid experience setting up and using test equipment including dataloggers, environmental chambers, oscilloscopes, integrating spheres, goniometers, power analyzers, power supplies (AC and DC), and other types of equipment used for product testing.
- Knowledge of NOM standards applicable to Lighting and Controls products.
- Proven experience certifying products to NOM, UL and CSA standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Knowledge of UL 1598 and other Lighting standards.
- Understanding of the science of light and photometry.
- Familiarity with Colombia’s Retilap.
