BEA-TT designs, develops, and supports a state-of-the-art Automated Fare Collection solutions for transit agencies in North America which currently serve over 15,000,000 passengers per day. At BEA-TT we are looking for new engineering team members that will focus on the creation of a new, unique platform that will serve the North American market as a first of its kind, offering scalability, flexibility, and affordability.

**Senior Software Engineer Job Responsibilities**:

- Crafting code that is well-structured, documented, reliable, scalable, and maintainable.
- Debugging and troubleshooting code to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
- Conducting research and staying up-to-date with technologies, programming languages, and best practices relevant to software development.
- Presenting code and systems to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences, in order to communicate functionality and requirements.

**Senior Software Engineer Qualifications/Skills**:

- Strong technical skills in software engineering, including software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies
- Deep knowledge of databases, data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to think creatively to overcome complex technical challenges.
- Team oriented - Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and deliver high quality work on time
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git is a plus Education,

**Experience, and Licensing Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3 or more years of experience in software quality assurance
- Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, etc.
- Experience with front-end web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working with various software development frameworks and tools, including Agile, SCRUM, Git, Jenkins, and JIRA.
- Strong understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus

**Salary**: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month
