Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _
- Sr. Failure Analysis Engineer_
- located in Guadalajara, North Campus._
- Reporting to the Engineering Manager, Sr. Failure Analysis Engineer role involves being responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment._

What a typical day looks like:

- _ Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in the design of method of failure analysis, testing, and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing._
- _ Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with the development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, telemeter, and record test data._
- _ Directs and coordinates the strategies of debugging the failure product of the test process._
- _ Analyzes and interprets Failures data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel._
- _ Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software._
- _ Trains and instructs floor support, debug technicians, and test operators on test hardware and/or software, failures solutions as well as proper problem-solving techniques._
- _ Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing, and coordinating corrective action measures, and monitoring improvements._
- _ Analyze circuits and topologies to identify marginal issues or compatibility issues between components._
- _ Yield trend and Pareto analysis to identify epidemic failures that required deeper analysis._
- _ Provide technical documentation and tools for diagnostic purposes._
- _ BOM´s management._
- _ Engineering change management and implementation._

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- _ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience._
- _ Experience Mid or Sr in a similar position._
- _ Advanced English_
- _ Experience in costumer communication._
- _ Experience in Staff Administration (such as debug and failures technicians)._
- _ Experience with measuring and diagnostic instruments._
- _ Knowledge of programming management_
- _ Experience working in the electronics and telecommunications industry._
- _ Trouble shooting knowledge on telecommunication products (switches, servers, networking)_
- _ Experience in dongle programming protocol i2C._
