Conversions Funnel Marketing Analyst

**About the MOFU Analyst**
**Non-negotiables for this role**:
- 100% native proficiency/fluent in both English and Spanish
- Located in either New York City or Mexico City
- Extremely data-driven and not just creative; you use numbers to drive every decision you make
**Qualities we are looking for**:
- You have a background in behavioral analysis (communications/marketing), product analysis, or business intelligence.
- You have experience working with any CDP (Customer Data Platforms), or CEP (Customer Engagement Platforms), including but not limited to the following: Airship, Amplitude, Braze, Bloomreach, Customer.io, Iterable, Mixpanel, Mparticle, Omnisend, and Segment
- There are 4 particularly important qualities for this role and one "nice-to-have":
- The first is passion for analysis. You love to analyze user behavior and conversion between steps of a marketing funnel to spot areas of opportunity and increase that conversion.
- The second is a high execution capacity; not only can you identify areas of improvement for conversion, but you can envision, plan, and execute concrete actions to address those conversion areas.
- The third quality is to have a high capacity to learn and use software quickly; in this case Braze, but in general we're looking for someone extremely focused on efficiency who is blazing fast on a laptop and is at home in the digital world.
- Finally: Excellent written communication, as you will be checking and programming client-facing COPY, and your grammar and ease of written communication should be excellent.
- (Bonus) Experience working with Braze and Branch
- Bold: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys continually learning and growing
- Analytical: Knows how to create a hypothesis and design an experiment to test a theory; you are skilled with extracting data, generating hypotheses, and launching constant and rapid iterative tests.
- You are detail-oriented and big-picture oriented—you have the vision and tenacity to take your projects from idea to finish line.
- A strong communicator; you ask for help when you need it, understand that overcommunication is better than under communication, and have a love of written documentation
- Extremely proactive attitude; you’ll promptly voice any areas of opportunities that you see with a suggested solution for solving them
**Tasks & Responsibilities**:
- Programming and design of A/B test for strategic communication campaigns, designed to maximize conversion on the MOFU.
- You will collaborate with the TOFU team to ensure communications and strategies are in sync across the funnel.
**Our Company Cultural Pillars (what we look for in our team members)**:
**Views technology as progress for humanity**:You don’t necessarily need to be the most early adopter of early adopters, but at YMM we firmly believe that technology, when used correctly and when access is given equitably, should improve the human experience, and we’re looking for likeminded team members.
**Innovative, optimistic, curious, and thinks outside the box**:Although introspection, reflection and research are fundamental to a healthy business, to build an “Adhocracy” we are looking for people who are willing to believe in crazy ideas. An idea for how to practice this: in your next team brainstorm, instead of defining all the reasons an idea won’t work, try listing all the reasons it might work.
**Humility & willingness to grow**:“Everyone in the world is better than you at something.” The smartest people always know that they’re not the smartest person, and stay open to constructive feedback (from anyone - not just their superiors) as a tool for continuous growth. The humility to receive feedback without becoming defensive or pointing fingers is crucial to YO’s culture. And of course, feedback should always be given following the “Radical Candor” style. (Radical Candoris required reading)
**World-class communicators**:When in doubt, overcommunicate. Imagine how many problems in the world have been caused by miscommunication or misunderstandings caused by less-than-perfect communication. We’ve all been there - you walk away from an interaction thinking that the other person understood you perfectly, yet find out a few days later that they had a completely different takeaway of the conversation as you did. This is especially a challenge for globally distributed teams who work in several different languages and time zones. We are looking to build a team of world-class communicators (whether written or verbal, but ideally both) in order to improve efficiency, productivity, and happiness at YO (less misunderstandings = happier workplace). (Required reading: The Story of Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody)
**Proactive & problem-solving attitude**:Nobody wants to work with somebody who only brings problems to the table and not solutions. We’re looking for people who will lead brainstorms, suggest ways to help their coworkers solve
