**Your team responsibilities**

This is an Associate position with the Index Product Operations team with initial job responsibilities being the execution of the day-to-day tasks as they relate to the calculation and dissemination of the MSCI equity indexes. This role requires proactive monitoring of the Real Time/End of Day prices of securities and related market/company news & events; ensuring timely delivery of both the real time and end of day indexes while maintaining the highest quality standards; addressing day to day operational issues in a timely manner; recommending procedural and technical enhancements as appropriate & involvement in business driven and infrastructure projects.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Monitor and QA, the daily production of indexes for data quality & timeliness.
- Data management which includes corporate action handling, processes to manage exchange calendar data, prices, securities from various data vendors etc
- Maintain the index database in accordance with changes in Index constituents, coverage or methodology
- Develop knowledge of index calculation methodologies & processes
- Manage the daily distribution of index data to MSCI clients
- Analyze stock market structural changes
- Respond to client queries in a timely and accurate manner
- Liaise with data vendors and stock exchanges

**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field (Including equivalents of CFA, FRM, MBA)
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Superior knowledge of spreadsheet tools
- Ability to work under pressure is a must
- Highly developed organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working in a Global team environment is a plus
- Familiarity with Reuters and/or Bloomberg market data systems
