Strategic Planning Specialist will conduct research and data analysis to advice on risk and opportunities to enhance business performance: FODA analysis, providing insights according to industry and market trends and building forecast based on mathematical models.

Support Mid Term Plan process by collecting volume forecast for Whole Sales (WS) and Retail Sales (RS) per Fiscal Year for the next 4-5 years and estimate profit visibility based on the information provided by several functions like Advance Planning, Strategic Marketing, Sales, After Sales, Program Management Office, Product Economic Control, etc.

Analyses, calculates, and propose Total Industry Volume and Forex (MXN/USD) forecast in the long term to report to Global Corporate Strategy (A1A), cross functionally working with Finance, Program Management Office, Treasury, Strategic Marketing.

Responsible of Alliance synergies. Calculates and support Reporting with local management and Alliance counterpart. Invoice process for recovery expenses and mark up for specialized services provide to the Alliance in compliance with Mexican Labor Reform.

Responsible of MEX Corporate Average Fuel Economy model year (MY) study to evaluate Nissan vehicles gas emissions and compliance status vs NOM-163-SEMARNAT.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Management volume forecast based on the information provided by Strategic Marketing, Sales and Advance Planning.
- Management profit forecast based on the information provided by several functions such as: Advance Planning, Strategic Marketing, Sales, After Sales, Sales Finance (Revenue and Operating Profit).
- Analyzes different sources of macroeconomic information (GDP, Inflation, Interest Rates, Unemployment rates, etc.) to estimate the Forex (MXN/USD) and Total Industry Volume forecasts for the next 9-10 years. This activity involves cross-functional work with Strategic Marketing, Sales, Treasury, Finance, etc.
- Tracks Alliance synergy status jointly with Alliance counterpart and key functions such as Alliance Purchasing Organization, Government Affairs, Legal, Customs & Trade, After Sales, etc.
- Permanently evaluates Corporate Average Fuel Economy results for vehicles gas emissions to determine if NMEX is under compliance vs NOM-163-SEMARNAT or if additional countermeasures need to be developed.

**Education/Certifications**:
Bachelor's degree in (advanced degree preferred) Actuary, Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, or related discipline.

**Previous Work Experience**
- Three or more years of related experience (automotive preferred), including statistical analysis experience and macroeconomic analysis.
- Power-user experience in Word, Excel (multiple linked spreadsheets), PowerPoint, Think Cell, and Marketing Intelligence sources.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following functions: Product Planning, Finance/Accounting, Program Management, Vehicle Operations, Engineering.

- Strategic thinking, decision making, coordination of working groups and projects, problem solving, search for business opportunities, analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication, networking.

**Language**:Advanced English level
