**Job Overview**:
The QHSES Training Tech provides solutions to problems in the QHSES Training discipline without supervisory approval and will evaluate and select solutions from established operating procedures and scientific procedures.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Complete the Trainer Development Program and be deemed competent by an SME to train/assess QHSES training
- Complete assigned ‘Train the Trainer’ QHSES courses
- Deliver and facilitate assigned QHSES training courses and assess delegates on required criteria during the course
- Assist QHSES Training Manager with the curriculum design, development, and implementation
- Develop and maintain QHSES training equipment maintenance plans
- Review course evaluations with the QHSES Training Manager as required
- Assist the QHSES Training Manager with the evaluation of training proposals from selected external providers
- Verify that the equipment and lighting, furniture, projectors, and sound system are working properly to facilitate the learning experience
- Prepare and conduct risk assessments when practical/hands-on demonstration and assessment are needed
- Execute internal and external audits as required
- Demonstrate the behaviors of the “Code of Conduct Trainers” at all times

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- Degree or related discipline with equivalent work experience
- At least three (3) years of experience in dedicated training and teaching capacity
- Ability to work cooperatively with others to obtain required information, assess needs and effectively transfer knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Database usage required
- Comfortable with public speaking and presenting
- Knowledge of training techniques and adult learning
- Must demonstrate good written and oral communication skills
