Procurement Tail Spend Management Representative

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.

**How you'll make your mark**:

- Leading the analysis of a specific commodity data and industry trends or leads an individual supply chain sub
- category; reports results to managers.
- Participating as a member on a cross-functional team (may lead specific projects).
- Meeting with stakeholder to understand business priorities and translate them into procurement plans; comprehends the industry and the marketplace.
- Utilizing supply chain and financial modeling tools.
- Participating in supplier selection activities.
- May be leading activities for less complex domains.
- Assessing the supply base of category.
- Negotiating and contracts with suppliers.
- Engaging with low-complexity suppliers.
- Monitoring supplier performance.
- Executing risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operation strategies.
- Identifying of common contract risk areas.
- Negotiating acceptable contracting outcomes using pre
- packed solutions.
- Advising program level business representatives on fundamental contract risk areas.

**About you**:

- University degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
- Around 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain function.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, industry, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Basic Project Management skills.
- Basic ability to develop suppliers
- Strong teamwork and basic leadership skills; basic influencing skills.
- Mastery in English and local language.
- Ability to create a contract using standard company contract templates with supervision.
- Applies cause and effect thinking to identify common contract risk areas.
- packaged contract solutions to obtain acceptable outcomes.
- Solid understanding of fundamental contracting principles.
- Good understanding of the company's business units and the company's business strategy.
