**Job Profile Summary**

To manage the accurate and timely recording, summarization, and (if applicable) transmittal of all business information for the facilities or areas assigned.

**Job Duties**:
Though organizations vary, incumbent typically provides first level of supervision with both technical and administrative responsibility for a team of salaried and management staff. This could be in a specialized area (General Ledger, Inventory) for a larger organization or in a general area (Cost Accounting, Financial Accounting) for a smaller unit (e.g. a facility/plant within the parent company). Overall accounting policies have been prescribed, but there is a continual need to interpret, coordinate and record activities resulting from constantly changing business conditions. Incumbent has a comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s accounting processes & systems.

Leadership guidance and business support for Santa Catarina Campus Operations (Fabs, Struts & Cabs facilities) on:

- Leadership managing people role, responsible to provide guidance the team.
- Lead and coordinate Business Support team in : a) Month-end-Financial closing and accountable reporting, including consolidation analysis and communication the results/explanations; b) Forecasting and budgeting processes : Annual Business Plan, Rolling Business Management (RBM´s), 5Y forecasting, all other related; c) OPACC Improvement Agenda (OIA) supporting related to setup realistic goals and monitoring target benefits; d) Daily, weekly and monthly tracking projections for departmental expenses and operations results Vs the business goals;
- Supporting local and accountable reporting simplification and data digitalization team and drive alignment on outcome metrics.
- Create a continued improvement environment through a process to inventory and prioritize ideas for simplification & data digitalization including the assessment of impact & effort and timing.
- Communicate effectively with the team and with internal and external customers and data providers.
- Serves as liaison between customer, team, and data providers.
- Identifies and communicates goals and objective of team.

**Background Experience**:

- Degree preferably in accounting and finance areas.
- 5-7 years of accounting and finance experience
- Fluent English
- Must have proven record of process and accomplishments at lower levels.
- Must demonstrate initiative, leadership, good judgment, and superior communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and human relations skills also are necessary.
- Incumbents will demonstrate very good communication skills and have a comprehensive knowledge of Caterpillar businesses, products, suppliers, and customers.
