**About this role**:
What will you be responsible for?

Lead the talent across the organization by delivering Talent Management, Leadership Development and Inclusion & Diversity strategies. It includes both local and expatriates employees.

**In this role you will**:
Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:
**Talent Management**
- Develop and deliver a Talent Management Strategy for the Site.
- Site wide administration of Performance Management, Talent Assessments, Talent Reviews, Development and Succession Planning (for critical positions) and Performance Improvement Plans.
- Engage and support leaders to be accountable for driving high performing teams and developing their skills.
- Support Graduate Development Program.
- Partner with Regional Talent Management to advance in key priorities related to Newmont’s culture (Talent Philosophy, Employee Experience, Culture of Feedback, Listening Survey).
- Analysis and reporting of talent data.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to advise on recruitment processes, aligned with Talent Management strategy and achieve I&D targets.
- Lead Spot Awards Program: Promotion, communication, provide training to leaders on how to use the program. Lead the Spot Awards Committee to run the approval process, upload nominations in the system, follow up with requestors and deliver certificates.

**Development**
- Support leaders and employees with the creation of Individual Development Plans.
- Partner with Training department to work on development needs for employees on the different Talent Pools.
- Support and co-facilitate Frontline Leadership Program and other leadership/development Corporate programs.
- Support the administration of programs offered to employee’s development such as Scholarship Program and Languages program, includes budget and planning.
- Support leadership with Development Workshops, Training or other ad-hoc required workshops for the team.
- Inclusion, Diversity and Equity
- Develop and implement Inclusion, Diversity and Equity strategy for Newmont Mexico.
- Support Senior Managers and Regional IDE leads to implement IDE Plans.
- Support the delivery of commitments as per the global IDE Strategy.
- Lead and coordinate the local IDE Committee to successfully deliver the committed work plans.
- Lead various initiatives on Inclusion and Diversity to positively impact the Site.
- Support the development and implementation of inclusion and diversity vision focused on talent retention strategy.
- Partner with the Region to follow up on the global IDE Strategy and various initiatives to implement at the Site.

**Global Mobility**
- Support and assist the expat talent assigned to Newmont Mexico.
- Support the Global Mobility Lead assigned to Site and ensure good employee experience for the expats.
- Partner with Global Mobility Corporate on the overall process of assignment of expats.
- Partner with Regional/Corporate Talent Management to provide support to expats ending their assignment to look for opportunities within the Company.

**Other**
- Coordinate the translation/interpretation services for the site events, meetings, workshops, etc.
- Participate in diverse panel interviews as required by the areas.

- Ability to develop site wide strategies for the management and talent development area.

- Strategic outlook, effective communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.

**Experience**
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in Talent Management, Succession Planning, Performance Management.
- Successful delivery of site wide projects in large scale organizations.
- Engagement and influence of leaders across the organization by establishing trust and credibility.
- Role modeling of inclusive behavior and a desire of contribute to building diverse and inclusive work environments.
- Ability to work within a multinational company and collaboration across different functions and cultures.
- Experience in mining industry preferably.
- Growth mindset paired with a strong desire to continuously seek out improvement opportunities.
