Descripción y detalle de las actividades
- Independently responsible for the planning, scheduling, and/or control of designated materials flow. - Interface with management and staffs of multiple departments to ensure smooth materials flow. - Participate in supplier audits as necessary. - Act as a focal communication point to supply base. - Recommend modifications to departmental policies and procedures. - Participate and recommend processes improvements. - Promote and support teammates development. - Monitor supplier approval process and maintain performance records. - Place and confirm purchase orders from ERP system (SAP). - Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of raw materials. - Monitor inventory adjustments, and work with accounting to resolve discrepancies in ERP. - Review MRP daily. Work with scheduling to ensure materials arrive in time to meet production demand and production schedule. - Implement and follow procedures and policies from department. - Work with vendors to implement corporate strategic goals. - Facilitate the timely resolution of MRB issues. - Maintain and data input of scheduling/materials flow information on Bose MRP system (SAP). - Participate and support to Commodity Leaders when developing a new source, interview vendors, when vendors and supply sources are inadequate. - Evaluate and record vendor reliability via the supplier report card incident
- based system. - Keep inventory levels according to plant budget and policies. -Perform other duties as assigned: Attend production meeting, Metrics review, Air Freight Authorization, ECN's and Deviations, Obsolete material related activities.
Experiência y requisitos
- Education: Bachelor’s degree. - Experience: Five years. - Abilities: Bilingual Spanish / English 95 %, computer literate. - Proficiency on SAP and Microsoft Excel. - Prove supply chain trainings/courses.
