- The Customs Compliance Coordinator is responsible for regulatory compliance in customs and foreign trade matters related to national and international activities carried out by the Organization, incorporating best Corporate practices through risk assessment that have the benefit of promoting a culture of customs and trade compliance, savings in logistics, avoiding costly litigation and extensive Government audits.

Responsbilities and key activities:
- Accountable to keep up to date Annex 24 (inventory control system for temporal imports)-
- Prepare reports on routine basis about contingencies detected and the negative impact that is likely to arise in the company (aged and close to expiration materials, overages and shortages among others), as well as generate spontaneous compliance alternatives:- Amendments-
- Regularizations (change of regimen)-
- Conduct physical audits for imported materials recorded in Annex 24 vs SAP balances.-
- Perform on routine basis electronic audits of official customs information on foreign trade operations to detect omissions or inconsistencies in the operations, and thus avoid fines.-
- Assists on Trade Compliance revisions performed either by the Corporate offices, external consultants and/or Government.-
- Manage and control Company’s fixed assets: imported under IMMEX program and purchased within the countryWhat do you need for this position?:
- Bachelor’s degree on international trade preferable, and/or equivalent work experience- Relevant industry workshops, seminars, classes (continuous education)- English proficiency- Knowledge in Mexico Government Programs: IMMEX, ALTEX, CIVA, PROSEC, 8th RULE, V1’s etc.- Knowledge requesting NOM’s, import permits, etc- Subject matter expertise in Annex 24- Supply chain knowledge
