**Quality Specialist**:

Support the deployment of the Quality strategy for a local ABB organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and even exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solution to problems. Collaborate with of local functions that impact on the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aiming for world-class level performance.

Quality Specialist

**Your responsibilities**:

- Deploy and support a Quality Culture within local ABB, by assuring and controlling Quality with systems, tools and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. Supports and maintains the Quality Management System of the local unit. All aspects managed in line with ABB Group/Division/BU guidance.
- Assists in the implementation of effective internal controls to verify that processes will meet customer and stakeholder requirements. Validates that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating known risks.
- Represents the Voice of the Customer within local teams. Challenges the teams with customer experience feedback and input to decisions. Enable and coaches employees to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view
- Utilize ABB Group aligned systems and tools to assist the Engineering function with Product data and analysis to validate that Products continue to meet operational and customer expectations throughout their lifecycle. Utilize APQP to assure effective introduction of new products.
- Provides quality training to local teams enabling them to define and document processes that are efficient and under control.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical-Automation, Mechanical-Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related.
- 2 years of experience working in similar positions.
- Technical ability to understand schematic drawings, plan safe work on electrical systems and equipment, ability to recognize and manage electrical hazards, communicate and lead effectively a working party.
- Knowledge of MS Office and Continuous Improvement.
- Electrical safety regulation knowledge and experience (NFPA 70E, NOM-029-STPS-2011, NOM-004-STPS-1999).
