**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for creating Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) content to monitor security events and detect potential security incidents across the company
- Involved in a wide range of security related tasks including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic and network access
- Research and identify new technologies to aid in improving security and protection
- Coordinate with other departments to promote awareness and training on security protocols

**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, related fields or equivalent experience

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Experience in Cyber Security Operations (Monitoring, Detection, Incident Response, Forensics)
- 3-5 years relevant security experience
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Ability to make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations and establish work priorities
- Experience in Splunk and Cloudflare would be considered an asset
- Experience in AWS and Networking is preferred
