**Job Description**:
**As Senior Transportation Manager**:

- You ensure to build
- and ramp up a transportation department under the most cost-effective and target-oriented distribution of Home Appliances to BSH customers in North America (RNA) and production material to our factory in Mexico Monterrey.
- Disciplinary lead and develop a team of 3-5 people for which you will have to set the targets and shape the culture.
- Development, ramp up and implementation of BSH delivery processes and standards for transportation companies, especially in terms of means of transportation, IT system(-s)
- Creating a delivery strategy and implementation finished goods appliances from BSH MX to Regional Distribution Centers in US
- Set up a supply network with Regional Freight Carriers for production materials (Mexican suppliers) to our factor in Monterrey
- Tender organization for selection of transportation companies for BSH in MX; ensuring that supplier selection process is in accordance with internal BSH regulations
- First point of contact within BSH MX for transportation companies in relation to contractual regulations for in
- and outbound deliveries
- Close cooperation with customers (receiving Distribution Centers in US, or direct customers) and material suppliers in order to ensure expected service level
- Creation of reporting system for domestic distribution; analysis of the results obtained and proposing improvement actions
- Organization of regular KPI Management provided to BSH by transportation companies according to defined scope and schedule; implementation of corrective actions resulting from the audits
- Regular monitoring of transportation companies’ performance; responsibility for achieving of assumed process indicators of the tasks performed
- Making ongoing decisions in the event of irregularities or changes in the cooperation with the transportation companies in order to ensure expected service level
- Ensure cost and invoice control system for BSH MX transportation services according to BSH regulations
- Employee management and development as well as monitoring the team members’ performance
- Participation in projects, working groups and committees
- Willingness to travel within the Region North America

**Qualifications**:

- Broad and substantive management experiences across several line and support
functions or businesses, or recognized outside the organization as having paramount
capability in a broader discipline/area of study
- University study with focus on Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related
- Management experience in operational logistics
- Strong analytical and excellent communication skills
- Logistics market knowledge in national and regional transportation networks
- Intercultural empathy and good communication skills in dealing with various stakeholders.
- English and Spanish fluent.
- Flexibility for trainings and traveling
