The Industrial Engineer shall ensure that the distribution of spaces, people, time and other resources are adequate to achieve the desired production standards.
What You Will Do in Your Role
- Time and Movement
- Standardization of operations.
- Calculation of optimal capacities of production lines.
- Evaluation and modification of lay outs of production lines.
- Verification of manufacturing processes.
- Update databases that demonstrate optimal product routes, production times, allocation of main and alternate machines, take out the number of operators needed to perform the different parts, batch compliance time, time available for schedule of operations or preventive maintenance and statistical analysis.
- Retro power of RMP systems with up-to-date and analyzed information.
- Work multidisciplinary groups to implement Lean Manufacturing.
- Production programming based on corroborated times and movements.
- Development and updating of flowcharts.
- Update of different formats and evidence for audits.
The Experience You Will Bring
**Requirements**:
- English fluent
- AutoCAD
- Excel Formulas
- SAP (desirable)
- Flexim (desirable)
- 3 years or more in similar position
**Education**:
Bachelor´s Indutrial Engr.
