The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) Outreach Coordinator (OC) serves as the liaison between INL Mexico and Consulate General Tijuana, which covers Baja California and Baja California Sur. The incumbent coordinates daily with appropriate consulate officials, including the Principal Officer (PO), Public Affairs Section (PAO), Regional Security Office (RSO) and inter-agency law enforcement colleagues to advance bilateral security cooperation between the United States and Mexico, and to achieve Mission goals. Externally, the OC represents INL, engaging with Mexican government interlocuters at the federal, state, and municipal levels to advance bilateral goals for Security, Public Health, and Safe Communities. The OC also supports the PO and direct supervisor with projects and tasks related to bilateral security cooperation and achieving mission goals at the Consulate.
