Direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, quality, maintenance, and other production-related activities.

**DUTIES**:

- Develop and control profits, plans, and budgets.
- Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse.
- Coordinate plant activities through the departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Implement cost-effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages, and salaries.
- Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
- Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight, and repair expenses.
- Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilites and equipment when necessary.
- Provide Plant direction, development and leadership to accomplish the company goals and objectives.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in related field and 5-7 years plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements
- Excellent organization skills.
- Excellent leadership/change management skills.
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
- Proven track record of success.

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proficient in both written and spoken Spanish and English
- Ability to grow a small manufacturing group into a complex 50-75 person organization over several years with responsibility over manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, logistics, customer service and quality functions
- Automotive supplier experience preferred
- Available for travel to supplier, customer and other Company locations
- Ability to interface with suppliers and customers as face of the company
- Ability to work with and create cross-functional teams
- Breadth of knowledge to understand and execute on the detailed operations combined with the ability to drive the organization to a vision
- Preferred experience in small company with large company process understanding
