Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _
- Buyer Direct_
- located in _
- Guadalajara, North Campus_
- ._
- Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, Direct Buyer role involves_ being responsible for
_coordinate activities involved with procuring direct materials, components, and equipment._

What a typical day looks like:

- _ Reviews requisitions and MRP output._
- _ Comunicated with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule._
- _ Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase._
- _ Orders, reschedules, and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output._
- _ Manages supplier to price, delivery and quality expectations and escalates when appropriate._
- _ Approves invoices for payment._
- _ Expedites delivery of goods to users._
- _ Analyzes inventory levels. Prepares liability reports for excess and obsolete management._
- _ Interfaces with suppliers and customers to secure both delivery and the best market price._
- _ Makes tactical buying decisions. Executes corporate sourcing programs and purchasing high dollar parts._
- _ Conducts quarterly supplier reviews._
- _ Maintains procurement records, reports and metrics._
- _ Follow up from PO placement up to supplier's payment and material receipt in system._

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- _ BA/BS or equivalent work experience._
- _ Fluent English_
- _ Experience in electronic manufacturing companies._
- _ MRP previous experience._
- _ CPIM and CPM preferred._
- _ Relationship building and management skills are also a plus._
