**Role Definition**
Provides support in general labor relations issues and maintains positive communication between managers and unions.

**Responsibilities**
- Advising management on changes to existing policies to ensure compliance with new or proposed regulations.
- Representing the organization in general legal hearings on federal, state and local regulations pertaining to labor issues.
- Participating in implementing and administering management-labor relations to help maintain positive relations with unions.
- Assisting in union contract negotiations, contract agreements, and other labor relations issues.

HR Legal and Regulatory Environment: Knowledge of HR legal and regulatory environment; ability to advise on laws and regulations affecting HR practices.

- Explains a specific HR policy or practice and relates it to a specific law or regulation.
- Follows locally relevant laws and policies governing HR issues.

**Degree Requirement**
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an international law firm or legal department or international company with operations in Mexico, or labor counsel.
- Specializing in HR and Labor Matters desired.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating legal agreements, in both English and Spanish.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English, interpersonal skills, and ability to work closely with others and collaborate as a team.
- Ability to strategize and analyze information and ability to think and solve labor situations.
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
- Empathy, communication skills and teamwork.
- Ability to lead and control a discussion using techniques.
