PURPOSE OF THE JOB
I use the IKEA business priorities, knowledge of our range, range presentation and communication techniques, trends, my national market, competition and my customers’ living situations to drive and develop solutions now and in the future in my country and in all media. I lead and inspire through the Country Communication Team and functions to achieve I&C excellence, sales growth and profitability. I contribute to the business development regionally using my specialist I&C knowledge. I contribute to the business development regionally using my specialist knowledge. I set and maintain a clear direction for all communication functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
- Lead and inspire the Country Inspiration & Communication Managers, Ikano Retail Loyalty and I&C roles. Using deep knowledge of communicating and inspiring consumers in the market with the IKEA Brand, Range Presentation, Commerciality, IKEA home furnishing and Local Relevance to grow the business supporting long-term profitability.
- Inspire and challenge the SO Sales, Business Navigation, Fulfilment and Store Commercial Teams to support and develop the IKEA visual identity. Together exploit commercial opportunities both in the short
- and long term.
- Partner with the Country Communication and Inspiration teams to support the commercial agenda each year in all media. - Contributor to the development of Commercial Review performance in the stores.
- As member of the regional management team contribute with knowledge Communication and Com&In function creating and implementing the IKEA SEA business plan, long term strategies and commercial performance agenda.
- Contributor to secure succession for future. Lead the process for how to recruit, develop and retain high performing and engaged co-workers.
- Accountable to secure vitality and seasonality leading the country SO teams in the effective execution the commercial calendar partnering with other SO HODs.
- Support the process with SO Departments and store teams to develop and deliver cost effective solutions and efficient process for communication, range presentation and change management in all media.
- Accountable for the IKEA Brand in Ikano Retail in all aspects relating to Communication and Inspiration when measured in Brand Capital.
- Accountable for the delivery of the desired Brand and Commercial position in the market as described in the Business Plan.
- Inspire and lead with curiosity about consumer behaviour and perception in the markets to improve the IKEA position and commercial performance. Be knowledgeable and able to assimilate and develop theories and approaches based on consumer behaviour and preference in the market.
- Conceptualise and develop with external agencies and regional SO partners Branding campaigns to support the IKEA SEA position - Make Home Count.
- Contribute to Public Relations in the market leading the delivery through the County Marketing Manager.
- Accountable for the development and delivery of the Loyalty and CRM program in Ikano Retail.
- Contribute to the analysis and communication of market and business intelligence reports to the market and shared across Ikano Retail.
- Accountable for delivery of the Marketing, Loyalty and Com&In budget in Ikano Retail.
- Contribute to campaign creation - from concept to delivery, and support with post-opening marketing plans for new stores/PUP to strengthen the IKEA brand and its competitive position in new markets.
- Participate in expansion support with marketing data, marketing trends, budgeting for Investment Request, project timeline, communication plan and relevant chapters within commercial brief.
- Contributor to contract negotiation in the market relating to the function.
- Secure purchasing in your function is made according to the principles defined in the Procurement Policy: Operational participation in procurement projects. Compliance of sourcing requirements, IWAY Working Method and signed agreements
