What you will do:
Manage the execution of the tasks and functions of the maintenance group as well as ensure that the plant equipment is always operable.
How you will do it:
- Develop, coordinate, supervise and sustain the maintenance functions, and equipment support.
- Supervise that preventive maintenance is executed on time and according to the requirement.
- Request in advance the availability of spare parts and consumables so that preventive maintenance is carried out properly and on time.
- Support operations by achieving the objectives and goals of the manufacturing-production department.
- Ensure that the flow and consumption of spare parts in the maintenance warehouse are managed and controlled, ensuring that the necessary purchases are triggered according to the consumption focused on critical equipment.
- Supervision the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement projects, equipment installations, technical support, process improvements, preventive maintenance, ergonomics, as well as compliance with environmental and safety objectives.
- Responsible for the training and qualification of its staff as well as providing a safe work environment.
- Preparation of root cause analysis reports for major failures, KPI monitoring reports,
- Upload information regarding maintenance records.
- Follow-up to internal and external audit reports.
- Follow-up of open maintenance actions, as well as prioritizing the execution of fault resolution and/or activities.
- Comply with and enforce all personnel with safety regulations.
- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Program of the equipment; Modifications to Production Tools and Equipment.
- Administration of the technical staff attendance system, supervising and managing the shifting role of the technical staff.
- Administration and Coordination of the Plant Ergonomics Program; help to purchase spare parts for equipment and the purchase of supplies for the production operation.
- Closure of Safety Actions, etc.).
- Quality (5 Why, QM, Scrap reduction, etc); helping in the implementation of cost reduction projects.
What we look for:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in mechatronics, manufacturing or engineering.
- Solid understanding of electrical, electronics, pneumatic, and hydraulic. Practical experience in tooling and PLC, lean principles and project management.
- Solid background in Maintenance KPIs, Downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and OEE understanding.
- CNC Machines Hardware maintenance experience (required) E.J.(Vtech, SNK, Cincinnati, Awea, Amada );
- English language 95%
- Proved experience as a leader and working under pressure.
