Description
Ensures production program:
- Monitors and ensures the realization of a defined production program with regards of quality, productivity and timing.
- Aligns the production plan with Logistics, re-defines the production plan in case of short-term changes, breakdowns or material shortages, aligns headcount requirements with those changes
- Controls and ensures the achievement of the production plan and related KPIs, (OEE, Productivity, scrap, etc)
- Analyzes shift information, machines records, to verify shift start-up situation or to address actions if required
Leads, organizes and optimizes the production area during the shift:
- Organizes and permanently improves the employment of personnel and the utilization of machines, material, production facilities in general and auxilliary material with regards to effectiveness and timing
- Balances shortages of personnel inbetween particular production cells (production areas, assembly lines, ets) e.g. in case of short term absences or with regards to vacation planning within individual teams; prioritizes tasks for maintenance personnel in case of parallel breakdowns
- Contributes to the implementation of technical improvements initiated by IE; shares practical experience from the area
- Checks the booking of production, make corrections if necessary
Production
- Monitors and organizes maintenance activities. Evaluates improvement ideas, co-responsible for implementation of improvement ideas
- Responsible for keeping safatey and other ESH rules and procedures during the day
- Ensures necessary transfer of information to next shift or production management - Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements according to plant current customer
Ensures quality
- Permanently monitors production quality, analyzes scrap, ensures root cause analysis and initiates containment and/or corrective actions, audits production process randomly
- Contributes to the definition of quality standards
Initiates maintenance
- Identify root causes for breakdowns and failures based on production analysis, initiates maintanence activities (repair and/ or preventive maintenance) with maintenance department, monitors implementation and realization during shift,
- Forwards respective information to following shift and production management
**Qualifications**:
English: Advance
Enginerring Degree
Minimum three years experience as Leader in the Automotive industry
Experience in Lean Projects
Experience Leading people (Engineers and Technitians)
