**Position**:Inventory Planner

**Reports to**: Coordinator Inventory Planner

**Descripción General**:The Inventory Planner will assist in developing effective inventory strategies for Chemtreat Mexico. The Inventory Planner will make projections and recommendations for sales efforts and manage inventory to maximize profitability.

**Responsibilities for Production Planner**
- Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks.
- Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory.
- Forecast market challenges based on competitor analysis and industry trends.
- Address issues regarding quality and production.
- Produce reports based on findings and performance of production.
- Manage deadlines based on project expectations.
- Leads the plan to coordinate and establish operational inventory levels.
- Optimizes product availability in a multi-location, global distribution environment.
- Applies control techniques consistent with forecasts and plant capabilities to achieve target goals.
- Evaluating purchase orders to create profitability.
- Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.

**Requirements and skills**:

- Prior experience as a inventory planner in the industry preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous and diligent.
- Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Team work.
- Strong understanding of MRP and supply chain.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Bilingual Spanish-English
- Excel advanced skills

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years professional experience in manufacturing planning, inventory control or materials planning role
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
